Give each group a set of the following questions and statements.
You can either print off the list and ask the group to tick the questions or statements which seem appropriate to triage, or copy onto card, cut out each statement etc. and give one set to each group, asking them to stick the ones appropriate to triage to a piece of flip chart paper.
(Those appropriate to triage are the ones underlined in the tutor’s copy).
Take feedback alternating between the groups.
Discuss why some of the questions/statements are not appropriate to the triage role (i.e. ones which are, or could be interpreted as, advice).
