The aim is to give you inspiration, share good practice and also let you know who the network coordinators are in successful networks.
All the network coordinators listed have agreed to be able to be contacted by advice agencies who need help or advice to lead their own partnership or forum. So e-mail them or give them a ring if you have any questions.

ACFA’s network of 48 members and is an unincorporated association. ACFA is one member of the winning South West Advice plus 2 bid. Avon and Bristol law centre is the lead body but the project will be steered by a broad range of members and will work with all the membership.
The Plymouth Advice For All (A4A) network was created after Plymouth Council, unconvinced by the CLAC agenda, called on a meeting with representatives of the sector to define a coherent approach to advice provision. In February 2008, after a bid by Plymouth CAB, the network received some Advice Plus round 1 funding for a three year period.
Advice Link Blackpool dedicated staff are on the Council’s payroll but the network has managed a degree of independence by being managed through an independent management board. The network has run successful benefits take-up campaigns and organised multiple outreach events
Advice Link, a charity limited by guarantee, received Big Lottery Funding for a network manager and coordinator and are working strategically across Nottingham to set up a service delivery structure that consists of core advice services providing triage, general advice and casework services.
An informal network with one network coordinator, Advice Services Coventry has received substantial NRF and Big Lottery funding for outreach work and streamlined access of clients.
The BAN network is a specialised network of BME organisation in London. The network has successfully bid for funding to deliver frontline services and has build up a reputation for social policy over the years.
Tower Hamlet’s network sprang from the now defunct Community Legal Services Partnership. The network has won Big Lottery funding for three roving link advisers doing placements in members agencies.
In 2006, nine non for profit advice agencies formed a consortium and set up an infrastructure organisation, ‘Advice Nottingham’.
