Instructions

Client and receptionist roles (work in pairs)
Client: state your problem/issue to receptionist
Receptionist to ‘probe the problem’ & gather information about the issue – ask questions
Receptionists: you need to find out about the issue BEFORE thinking about how to help the client
Have as natural conversation as possible
Receptionists – don’t give advice. Just find out more about the problem.
Try to come up with a mini-action plan of what the client will do
